RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT
Over the years IRIS has carried out a lot of projects collaborating with many Italian university institutions including the University and Polytechnic of Turin, the University and Polytechnic of Milan, the Polytechnic University of Marche, the University of Padua, various institutes of the CNR, INRIM, the University of Bologna, the University of Genoa, the University of Salento, the University of L’Aquila, the Italian Institute of Technology.
However, the comparison in the research field knows no borders and many activities have seen the participation of IRIS in international teams, beside important European academies; Supsi (University of Ticino), University of Patras (Greece) University of Valencia (Spain) University of Aalborg (Denmark), Polytechnic Zut (Poland), University of Sheffield (Great Britain), Fraunhofer Institute (Germany).
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
For IRIS the professional development of not only its employees but also the students who are about to enter the world of work is of fundamental interest. For this reason, the company promotes student training activities on its projects, promotes exchange and collaboration for internships in fieldwork and has been involved in many training programs including the Specialization Master in Additive Manufacturing of the Politecnico di Torino and in agreements of research with the University and Polytechnic of Turin, CNR, INRIM and Milan Polytechnic.
